Declan has over 40 years’ experience in Telecoms, I.T., and Consultancy.

He spent the first 20 years in what was The Department of Posts & Telegraphs which became eircom and now eir in a variety of roles culminating in the role of deputy I.T. director.

Since Declan left eir in 2000 he has spent time in the Corporate world including a spell as MD of the Irish arm of a U.K. technology PLC and some of his time in the SME world where he owned and ran a number of I.T. services companies before co-founding The Grey Matters Network in 2015.

Declan is the chairman of the ISPCC and sits on a number of technology start-up boards.

Declan co-founded The Grey Matters Network with Tony Devine and Mick Furlong in 2015, which subsequently merged with Auxilia Consultants to form AuxiliaGroup in 2022.
